Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care, a provider of comprehensive educational child care programs serving children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years old, plans on hosting CampVentures at their Pasadena location this summer, in compliance with the City’s regulations.
CampVentures, Kiddie Academy’s two-year-old through school-age summer camp program and curriculum, uses hands-on activities, field trips and themed events balanced with individual needs and interests, and keeping everyone’s health and safety in mind.
“Children, especially school-agers, have been learning from home during the last few months of their school year, which can cause gaps in their education—not to mention have parents and children itching for safe, fun activities outside the home,” said Richard Peterson, Chief Academic Officer for Kiddie Academy. “CampVentures is a way to balance a fun summer camp experience with a developmentally-appropriate curriculum to better prepare them to reenter the next school year. We are taking every precaution to protect our children, families and staff so we can provide a source of normalcy for families this summer.”
The CampVentures® program is an extension of the company’s Life Essentials® curriculum, supporting programs, methods, activities, and techniques to help prepare children for life.
