College Access Plan’s Spring Fever Wine Event Returns to Support Underserved Students

Published on Feb 28, 2023

College Access Plan, an independent nonprofit based in Pasadena, announced the return of the group’s Spring Fever wine event on Sunday, March 26 from 3-5 pm at The Grant in Glassell Park. This event marks the comeback of the signature fundraiser after a three-year hiatus and promises to be a fun and meaningful way to support the nonprofit’s mission.

College Access Plan has been helping low-income and first-generation college-goers succeed since 2006 by offering free programs such as college readiness advisement, topic-specific courses, college and financial aid applications, and other forms of essential college preparatory and success support. The organization currently serves over 1,800 students and their families in Pasadena and Hacienda La Puente.

For a $45 donation, event-goers can enjoy a flight of unique wines, snacks, and a chance to win prizes from some of the area’s top cultural and entertainment institutions. Proceeds from this event will help College Access Plan continue to provide much-needed support to underserved and underrepresented students in the community.

The Spring Fever event will take place at The Grant, 3515 Eagle Rock Blvd, in Los Angeles, founded in 2021 by co-owners of Echo Park’s Bar Bandini. Guests can expect to enjoy natural wines, classic cocktails, and local beers in a beautiful space.

Tickets for this 21-and-over event are available at www.collegeaccessplan.org, and advance purchase is encouraged. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have a great time and contribute to a great cause.
