Theatre 360 presents Spring Awakening at the Eastwood Performing Arts Center, Los Angeles. Books and Lyrics by Steven Sater. Music by Duncan Sheik. Set in the nineteenth century, a group of teenagers – silenced, controlled, and labeled by a censorious society – discovers a new world of feeling and freedom, with beautiful and devastating consequences. Inspired by German playwright Frank Wedekind’s once-banned, groundbreaking play from 1891, Spring Awakening tells a story of adolescent anarchy, set to one of the best-loved musical scores of the twenty-first century. Please note, this production is rated PG-13 and contains mature content and some profanity. Purchase tickets at the above link.
