Experience an enchanting evening of music, mythology, magic, and more in the beautiful setting of our Celebration Garden. Join us for a performance of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” followed by an ethereal evening soiree, or simply purchase a ticket for either the play or the evening party. Come enjoy Bardfly Theatre Co’s production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” William Shakespeare’s incomparable romp about mortals at the mercy of faeries in a mystical forest on a hot summer night, set in the beautiful landscape of the Arboretum! Doors open at 3:30pm, play starts at 4pm. A limited number of chairs will be available for guests with mobility challenges only. Grass seating is available for all other guests. A Midsummer Night's Garden Party: 5:30-8:30PM "Join us for “A Midsummer Night’s Garden Party,” an enchanting evening full of fantastical nature-based education!" While looking through the lens of nature, learn about the fascinating fantasy of fairies and mushrooms, the spiritual beliefs surrounding earth’s gems and crystals, the plants and herbs once used in potions, and the animals that continue to inspire folk beliefs. Enjoy professional magic, sip on themed cocktails, visit with our dryad tree spirit, make a miniature dragon egg, purchase goodies from themed vendors, and delight in live readings of select Shakespearean prose while dressed in your best magical attire.
