Poet Nabila Lovelace will be gracing the Pasadena City College English Department’s Summer Creative Writing Academy on Thursday, July 22, at 10:30 a.m.
Nabila Lovelace is a first-generation Queens-born poet, whose family is originally from Trinidad and Nigeria. The author of “Sons of Achilles,” published in 2018 by YesYes Books, she lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
The Summer Creative Writing Academy includes a craft talk workshop, reading and Q&A sponsored by the Pasadena Festival of Women Authors. Earlier episodes this month featured authors Liz Wong and Claire Oleson.
