NBC’s talent show “America’s Got Talent” will be back at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium starting on Aug. 22, and you can get free tickets to be part of the live audience.
The Civic Auditorium, a 3,000-seat theater listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been the backdrop to “America’s Got Talent” taped shows since 2016. The venue has also set the stage for countless televised shows, concerts, and events, including the Daytime Emmy Awards, NAACP Image Awards, Motown 25, and “So You Think You Can Dance.”
“It’s an exciting day when the ‘America’s Got Talent’ banners go up at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, signifying the start of the enthralling new season,” Michael Ross, CEO of Pasadena Center Operating Company, said. “The iconic celebrity host and judges, enthusiastic live audiences, and electrifying talents combined with a venue as legendary as the Pasadena Civic Auditorium is a recipe for a fantastic spring for the city’s hotels, restaurants, attractions, and small businesses.”
Last year, the Civic Center’s partnership with “America’s Got Talent” organizers expanded to include the mesmerizing live shows that take place throughout the summer. This season’s live shows are set to run for six weeks.
Each day, the organizers are giving away gift cards and tickets to the finale. You can also get a photo at the Judges Desk and on the Red Carpet when you visit.

Ticket holders will also receive 25% off towards food purchases at Yard House Pasadena across the street at Paseo on the same day.
