(Left) Avalanche (A506249). It’s snow joke, Avalanche will thaw even the coldest of hearts with her kind and gentle soul. Three-year-old Avalanche may look cool with her icy blue eyes and striking markings, but she’s far from frosty. This sweet pup enjoys leaning in for pats and scratches, playing with plush toys and zooming around the yard. She’s the perfect companion for someone looking to feel all warm and fuzzy this winter and beyond! (Middle) Drake (A504052). Drake is as handsome as he is nonstop fun! This energetic 2-year-old guy is sure to be the life of the party, especially a pool party! He absolutely adores playing in his kiddie pool, so get ready to get wet! Drake has made a lot of human and dog friends at the shelter and out in the community at adoption events. Are you ready for this lovable guy? (Right) Loki (A506535). We are low-key in love with Loki’s big, bushy eyebrows and we’re pretty sure this is going to be the look of 2023. But, 3-year-old Loki isn’t just a trendsetter, he’s also an accomplished vocalist who enjoys “singing” in the shower. With Loki’s stunning good looks, impressive talents and sweet natured and affectionate personality, he’s got star quality written all over him. [Photos courtesy of Pasadena Humane]

Looking for a furry Valentine to warm your heart this holiday season? Look no further than the Pasadena Humane Society’s “Be Mine” adoption promotion! Through February 15th, you can adopt a big, lovable dog for only $14.

With dogs weighing 40 lbs. or more available for adoption, there’s no better time to find your new best friend.

This Valentine’s Day promotion includes all the usual perks of adoption – spaying or neutering, vaccines, and a microchip – to make sure your new pet is healthy and ready to start their life with you. And with regular adoption screening in place, you can rest assured that you’re getting the perfect match for your home.

But why settle for chocolates and roses when you can have a big, slobbery kiss from a new four-legged friend? The love and companionship of a pet is pure and unconditional, making them the perfect addition to any household. So whether you’re single or in a relationship, consider spreading the love this Valentine’s Day by adopting a new pet.

Appointments for adoptions will be released on February 8th and February 12th at 10 a.m., so be sure to view the adoptable dogs and make your appointment at pasadenahumane.org/pets. And who knows, you might just find your forever Valentine in the process!
