From Gift Wrapping Workshops to Ugly Christmas Sweater Extravaganzas, Pasadena Public Libraries Will Mark Holidays

The Pasadena Public Library is set to host a series of festive events throughout December, according to an announcement made by the library. The “Winter Wonder List” of events, which are free and open to the public, will cater to all ages.

The series will commence on December 4 at 5:00 p.m. with a Sustainable and Stylish Gift Wrapping Workshop at the Hastings Branch. The Allendale Branch will then light up the holiday season with a Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting on December 7 at 4:00 p.m., and again on December 9 at 2:00 p.m. Concurrently, the Hill Avenue Branch will hold a Winter Craft Festival.

The San Rafael Branch is set to host a Winter Celebration with the Candlelight Carolers on December 9 at 4:00 p.m. A week-long Holiday Tree Decorating event will follow from December 11-16.

On December 11 at 4:00 p.m., the Lamanda Park Branch will host a Holiday Tree Decorating event and the Villa Parke Branch will host a Holiday Snow Globe event. The Hastings Branch will continue the festive spirit with a Tree Lighting Celebration on December 12 at 4:00 p.m.

The Santa Catalina Branch invites patrons to an Ugly Christmas Sweater Extravaganza on December 15 at 3:00 p.m.. A performance of “A Christmas Carol” will be hosted by the Linda Vista Branch on December 16 at 4:30 p.m.

The Jefferson Branch will celebrate its 35th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration on December 27 at 11:00 a.m.. To conclude the series, the Santa Catalina Branch will ring in the New Year early with a “Happy Noon Year” celebration on December 30 at 11:30 a.m.
