This year’s Raise the Roof Gala held on Saturday, October 28 at NOOR was a truly outstanding evening. About 190 guests came together for an event that blended elegance, entertainment, and a sense of purpose.

The night began with a lively cocktail reception, setting the tone for what would be a memorable evening. The ambiance was festive, with NOOR providing a stunning backdrop for the event. As guests mingled and enjoyed their cocktails, a sense of excitement filled the air. One of the highlights of the evening was an exciting silent auction, where attendees had the opportunity to bid on an array of fantastic items.

The event was more than just a night of celebration; it was an opportunity to make a difference. The Gala aimed to raise awareness and funds to empower families and build strength and stability in communities through homeownership and home preservation.

“Raise the Roof” marked a significant milestone for the San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity, as it was their first annual gala since 2015. The return of this event was a cause for celebration in itself, a testament to the organization’s commitment to its mission.

As the night progressed, the spotlight turned to the honorees who were recognized for their outstanding contributions. Christina Pascucci received the Ace Cain Humanitarian Award, David Jaynes was presented with the Helping Hands Award, and Grifols was honored with the Beam of Hope Award. These individuals and organizations exemplified the spirit of giving and community support, and their recognition added a touching element to the evening.

This year’s Gala at NOOR was a remarkable gathering of individuals who came together to celebrate, support, and uplift their community. It was an evening filled with elegance, entertainment, and, most importantly, a shared commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
