The event, titled “Echoes of Art: Indian Classical Music in Motion,” runs from 5 to 6 p.m. in the museum’s theater. Husband-and-wife duo Kamaljeet and Jas Ahluwalia will perform under their company name Absolute Focus.
Kamaljeet Ahluwalia will play the santoor, described as a rare instrument with 100 strings. Jas Ahluwalia will accompany on tabla, a pair of drums known for rhythmic expression.
The performance aims to resonate with the museum’s art collection while conveying emotion, movement and storytelling through music.
Absolute Focus is a music production company founded by the Ahluwalias. The duo has collaborated with major platforms including Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon, Disney and Facebook.
