Jack Hagerman, Pasadena Humane’s vice president of community engagement, is leading a special program on how the agency became an industry leader in progressive animal sheltering during the pandemic.
The program will be on Zoom from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
Hagerman will discuss how Pasadena Humane helped pets and their families and saved abused animals. Audiences will also learn how they can adopt pets with heartwarming adoption stories.
Hagerman leads operations for all public-facing programs, services, and community outreach initiatives by the nonprofit animal welfare agency.
In his role, Hagerman oversees field services, pet licensing, customer care, the call center, the animal resource center, foster care and transfers, the community cat program, adoptions and alternative placement, volunteer services, public relations, and community outreach.
He was previously VP for communications at Pasadena Humane, directing a robust communications and outreach strategy to elevate the agency’s brand in the community – emphasizing improved transparency, program growth and development.
