Learn How To Make Succulent Display Using Wool Blend Felt at Loma Alta Library

Published on Sep 14, 2022

The Altadena Library District is holding a morning craft activity, Adult Craft at Loma Alta: Felt Succulent Wall Hanging, at the picnic shelter tables near the Equestrian Center in lower Loma Alta Park on Friday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m. to 12 noon.

In this activity, you will learn how to make a succulent display using a range of wool blend craft felt in a variety of colors – starting with constructing or recycling a used wooden frame, installing fake grass on mesh wire and integrating it into the frame, cutting the felt into flowers and leaves, and assembling everything into your wall hanging.

This craft is for ages 18 and over and occurs on the third Friday of each month, September through December.

Online registration is required as space is limited to 10 people per session. Registration is through www.altadenalibrary.org/programs/?trumbaEmbed=view%3Devent%26eventid%3D161918999.

For more information or if you have any questions, call (626) 798-8338.

The activity will be at the seating Area near the Equestrian Center at Loma Alta Park, located at 3330 N. Lincoln Ave. in Altadena.
