Lower Arroyo Walk on Sunday Hosted by Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition

Published on Oct 9, 2021

Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition hosts Walktober 2021, a walking exploration of the Lower Arroyo, one of Pasadena’s best-kept urban secrets, on Sunday, October 10, starting at 3:30 p.m.

The Lower Arroyo holds some of Pasadena’s greatest natural and historic assets. The four-mile round trip will take you past Johnson Lake, through the beautiful homes of San Raphael, and down into the Arroyo where participants will see the incredible habitat restoration underway. The walk ends back at the Church of the Angels.

The walk leader loves to walk all over the area and share her appreciation of its history and beauty with friends old and new.

At this time, the seeds of California native plants are starting to set, so please stay on the paths. The terrain is uneven and rocky, so please wear appropriate shoes. Bring water and a hat, and proper walking shoes as you will be moving at a fast pace.

To sign up for this walk, visit www.eventbrite.com/e/182143063807.
