Enjoy “Summer Concerts Via Zoom,” the virtual adapted edition of the Pasadena Senior Center’s free summer concert series, with The Michael Haggins Band kicking off the fun with his unique blend of smooth jazz, R&B and funk from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. tonight, Aug. 3.
On Aug. 10, Sligo Rags, playing Celtic Folk music with a decidedly bluegrass attitude, performs at the annual concert, this year, due to the pandemic, featuring free evenings of music combining pre-recorded performances with live music, interviews and much-desired personal interaction.
On Aug. 17, the Grammy-winning Cajun and zydeco band Lisa Haley and the Zydekats put sounds of the Big Easy online, and on Aug. 24 local favorite The Susie Hansen Latin Band will have visitors dancing salsa in their living rooms for the cost of a click.
