Published on Feb 9, 2023

This summer, aspiring actors, singers, and dancers can turn their dreams into reality at Pasadena Playhouse’s Musical Theater Boot Camp. With two sessions taking place from July 5-14 and July 17-28, students will receive top-notch instruction from industry professionals and guest artists in all aspects of musical theater, from acting and singing to dance and theater history.

Leading the program is Will Pellegrini, a TV veteran who’s worked on shows like Fox’s hit musical “Glee.” He’s joined by Musical Director Adam McDonald, a classical/pop pianist and Broadway veteran who’s performed in productions like “Wicked” and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

The boot camp will culminate in a final showcase for family and friends, giving students a chance to showcase their newfound skills. With 25-40 students per session, ranging in age from 14 to 18, this unique learning opportunity promises to be a summer to remember.

Decisions will be made on or around April 15, 2023, based on video auditions submitted by April 1. Scholarships are available, and all details and application information can be found at pasadenaplayhouse.org.
