New Pasadena Toastmasters Club Seeks Members at Saturday Event

STAFF REPORT
Published on Mar 4, 2021

The newly organized Pasadena, Arts, Culture and History (PACH) Toastmasters Club is open to accepting new members, and if you’re interested, you can attend an online meeting at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 6, so you’ll learn what Toastmasters is all about.

The new club was formed early this year and had its first meeting on Jan. 23.

Sam Luk, a long-time member of Monterey Park Toastmasters and area director for 2019-2020, is the co-founder of the new Toastmasters club. He said the club is dedicated to promoting Pasadena as a “unique cultural enclave with some of the most esteemed art collections, and architecture.”

“The Crown City has a fascinating history and vibrant culinary, and music scenes,” Luk said in January. “This club is unique and will provide a venue for people who are interested to share their knowledge, hear and learn from others or exchange ideas about Pasadena culture, and much more.”

To be part of a legacy, you can join the meeting on Saturday and decide whether being a member is right for you. To sign up, visit https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0vdOuhqjkqHtMl_8TOXeqj_hc3WzA5VC5a and fill up the online form.

You can also send an email to Luk, courage88@hotmail.com, or to Darren Ng, darren.tm@outlook.com.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the meeting.
