A new short film that tells the story of the famed Pasadena Chalk Festival is premiering on Sunday, June 27, as the city looks forward to hosting the 28th Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival in October.
The hour-long presentation, titled “It all began in 1993 at Pasadena City Hall…” will be streamed on the official Light Bringer Project YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/channel/
On the event website, www.pasadenachalkfestival.org, the organizer, Light Bringer Project, said Sunday’s event will be a “panoramic view of virtuosic street art,” including special guests.
Light Bringer Project brings back the Pasadena Chalk Festival itself to The Paseo on October 16 and 17, supported by the City of Pasadena’s Cultural Affairs Division, and the City’s Arts and Culture Commission.
