Newly-Launched Weekly Pasadena Real Estate Listings Magazine Focuses on Home With A View

Published on Jan 19, 2022

Pasadena Real Estate Listings Weekly started the new year with a fresh new look and a feature on a mountaintop perch above La Cañada Flintridge with incredible views.

The issue saw a number of new advertisers and posted over 14,600 views and reads in its first 24 hours online, according to Publisher James Macpherson.

The new weekly real estate magazine features current residential listings in the greater Pasadena area and is distributed in a “print online” format to its 70,000+ weekly readers every Wednesday.

The publication presents beautiful, print magazine-like graphics which are fully interactive online, with videos, home tours, click-to-call telephone access and links for readers to get more information about properties.

“Our purpose is to get timely listings information out to the community — and through our platforms, the entire region — very quickly,” said Publisher James Macpherson.

“The interactivity means readers can check out listings and connect with agents fast,” he said.

The demise of printed newspapers coupled with the need to publish timely, well-illustrated listing information that would read by a large audience inspired the publication’s creation, he said.

“Our first issue on December 1 was seen by over 10,500 readers on its first day,” he said. “Many local printed newspapers don’t get that kind of actual readership all week.”

In addition to appearing on the Pasadena Now website, the new listings magazine is publicized on its widely-read social media. Real estate stories on Pasadena Now‘s Facebook page are consistently viewed around the country, in nearly every state in U.S., Macpherson said.

“For local realtors who want their brand magnified and their listing seen — this is the fastest and least expensive new option,” Macpherson said.
