Pasadena ArtNight Friday Brightened by Pakistani Celebration of Arts and Culture

Published on Apr 29, 2022

The Pakistan Arts Council at USC Pacific Asia Museum will celebrate Pakistan’s arts and culture and their 30 years of existence during ArtNight@PAM on Friday, April 29, starting at 6 p.m.

This will be a fun-filled evening featuring live music by S.A.X Project, hands-on art activities, display of world-famous truck Art pieces, a photo corner with ethnic props for dress-up, and a display of exquisite regional embroidery, fabrics and more.

USC PAM’s Pakistan Arts Council was formed in 1991 to promote the arts and culture of Pakistan by organizing exhibitions, book talks, lectures, plays, visits to museums, public concerts and other cultural events.

The Council’s aim is to further cultural awareness and understanding through the arts; the group organizes movie screenings, music concerts, performing arts, exhibitions, festivals, and workshops celebrating Pakistan’s rich culture, in collaboration with USC PAM, Grand Performances in Los Angeles, and the Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton.
