The community is invited to take home a new animal companion free of charge this Saturday as Pasadena Humane joins with NBC4 for their annual “Clear the Shelters” event.
Fees will be waived for adoptions of all animals, including dogs, cats and other critters between 10 a.m and 2 p.m. at the shelter, 361 S. Raymond Ave., Pasadena Humane said in a written statement.
“On-site adoptions will be available with no appointment necessary,” according to the statement.
“Clear the Shelters” has been ongoing since 2015, resulting in the adoption of more than half a million pets across the U.S., according to Pasadena Humane.
