This service is offered by the Pasadena Department of Public Works and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6.
Regular oil changes can extend the lifespan of your engine and stave off a myriad of automobile issues that could cost thousands of dollars. Oil filters should be changed when the oil is changed.
Used motor oil, and the used filter, should be disposed of properly by taking them to a recycling site, or to an event such as this one happening on Saturday at Pep Boys.
Used oil can be recycled at a recycling center and it is good for the environment.
