Pasadena Power and Water (PWP) is hosting a virtual workshop from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in which PWP customers can learn about retrofitting their irrigation systems from spray nozzles to drip.

Not only will participants learn about retrofitting, but they will also receive a free Spray-to-Drip Residential Retrofit Kit, which is valued at approximately $288. The kit will provide enough supplies to retrofit a 250- to 400-square foot landscape.

Studies show that drip irrigation systems can use up to 30 to 50 percent less water than conventional watering methods, such as sprinklers.

At the workshop, PWP staff will walk people through putting together an irrigation retrofit kit.

To register, visit https://booknow.appointment-plus.com/b6jh9gv6/ and click Spray-to-Drip Retrofit Virtual Workshop. All participants who register for the workshop will receive a link to the virtual workshop by email.
