Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane this week:
One-year-old Poncho (A494447) is technically an adult dog, but he’s full of that puppy energy! Poncho is very intelligent and active, and would do best with an adopter who can keep him busy with training, agility, and toys. He’s so smart, he already knows sit and shake! Poncho takes a little time to warm up to new people, but he’s very food and toy-motivated and can definitely be swayed into being your best friend. This handsome guy is looking for a calm, adults-only home with someone who can give him all the fun and games he needs. And he loves giving doggy kisses, so if you love receiving them, you’ll get along with Poncho just fine!
Poncho is eligible for a 30-day adoption trial. Take him home for a month, get to know and love him, and we’ll provide all the supplies. At the end of 30 days, you can make your adoption official. Email foster@pasadenahumane.org to get your adoption trial started!
The adoption fee for dogs is $140. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

One-year-old beauty Anahid (A493972) is getting used to that home life in her foster home, and can’t wait to find her forever person! Although you’ve probably already gotten lost in her pretty eyes, Anahid has a lot of other great qualities as well. While she does take a little bit of time to be comfortable around new people, after only a few days in her foster home she was allowing petting, eating treats, and even rolling onto her back to show her belly! Anahid is a very playful kitty and will exuberantly play with toys even when no one else is around. She’s an independent gal and finds ways to keep herself occupied. Anahid is the whole package!
