Rain or Shine: 11,500 Runners Return to Pasadena Roads for the Rose Bowl Half Marathon

The 2023 Rose Bowl Half Marathon, the first race of the year in Los Angeles, was to take off regardless of weather Sunday morning at 7 a.m.  A sold-out field of more than 11,500 runners will enjoy the picturesque course that runs through beautiful Pasadena.

 

Runners will pass landmarks such as the Colorado Street Bridge, Old Pasadena and runs around the Brookside Golf Course.  The route passes Tournament House, the Norton Simon Museum and more.

 

One of Southern California’s premier races, both the half marathon and 5k (3.1-miles) start and finish at the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium.

 

Race day also includes the Rose Bowl Rush Kids Run, a 400-meter dash for children ages 3 – 8 starting at 10:30 a.m.
