There is so much to see at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada, especially on Saturdays, starting April 2, when the Gardens’ Spring Bloom Stations are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Subject to availability, you can stop by and learn about what’s in peak bloom. March is prime tulip time at Descanso, and the lilac season is in full swing as well. The cherry blossoms and the wisteria blooms are sights you wouldn’t want to miss, too!
As an added feature, Descanso takes you on a guided walking tour on Saturday, April 9, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The tour meets at the Center Circle. The tour is included in the price of admission and no reservations are required.
Members get free repeat entry to the garden daily. Non-members must purchase tickets online or on-site at the Visitor Center to enter Descanso.
