Published on Nov 12, 2023

The vibrant hues of creativity are set to bloom again at the Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden when it hosts the much-anticipated 5th Annual Art Fair In The Garden, in collaboration with the esteemed Pasadena Society of Artists (PSA), on Sunday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Renowned for transforming the serene landscape into an enchanting open-air gallery, the PSA Art Fair has become a highlight in the garden’s annual calendar, perfectly timed for those seeking unique treasures for their holiday shopping.

A stroll through the garden during the PSA Art Fair unveils a curated collection of artistic expressions, including paintings, ceramics, sculptures, collages, and prints crafted by ten exceptionally talented local artists.

The creative minds behind these captivating pieces include Kruti Shah, Karen Duckles, Mariko Bird, Kathleen Swaydan, Sean Yang, Martin Elrich, Michele Benzmin-Miki, Robin Cohen, Darien Donner, and Suzanne Urquiza.

The PSA Art Fair offers more than just a visual feast; it’s an opportunity for the community to directly engage with and support these talented artists. Attendees can explore the artists’ creations, each a unique representation of their distinct styles and perspectives, and purchase original works at reasonable prices – ideal for holiday gifts or for enhancing your personal art collection.

Participating artists will be generously contributing a percentage of their proceeds to the Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden. The Art Fair not only enriches the cultural landscape of Pasadena but also helps fund the garden’s educational and cultural programming.

Admission is free with garden admission, which is $12 at the gate and $9.50 with online registration. Children 12 and under are free.
