Union Station Homeless Services Roared into a Night of Giving Back

Published on Oct 20, 2021

This year’s annual Evening for the Station event and silent auction roared back on Wednesday, October 13 at 6:00 pm at the University Club of Pasadena. With a silent auction, dinner and live entertainment, over 135 people gathered in-person and virtually to support Union Station Homeless Services and their programs. Over $84,000.00 in life-changing funds were raised.

This unique hybrid event with in-person tickets included a three-course seated dinner with choice of entree, automatic registration for the silent auction, and in-person seats for the entertainment. The virtual experience included an exclusive Zoom link to the event, a boxed two-course meal, and automatic registration for the silent auction for at-home bidding.

With musical styles from Jazz to Classic Rock, Gerry Rothchild Band delivered a night for all musical tastes. Encouraging guests back onto the dance floor while adding to the evening’s entertainment, dance intermissions featured a dance troop leading guests in the Charleston, Jitterbug, and Salsa.
