“Firefly Lane” topped the latest list of the most-watched streamed programs, with viewers watching 1.308 billion minutes of the 10-episode Netflix drama in the first five days it was available, according to figures released Thursday.
Three other programs were in the top 10 for the week of Feb. 1-7 that were not in the previous week’s list.
“WandaVision” was seventh, with viewers watching 589 million minutes of the first five episodes of the Disney+ blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was the only non-Netflix program in the Top 10. There were no non-Netflix programs in the Top 10 each of the previous three weeks.
Nielsen also releases viewership figures for programming streamed on Hulu and Amazon Prime Video.
“CoComelon” returned to the Top 10 after a three-week absence, placing eighth with 564 million minutes watched of the six episodes of Netflix’s 3D animated series of videos of traditional nursery rhymes and original children’s songs.
“Henry Danger” returned to the Top 10 after a one-week absence. The 2014-20 Nickelodeon superhero comedy was ninth, with 544 million minutes watched of the 65 available episodes.
Dropping out of the Top 10 were the six-episode Netflix teen drama “Fate: The Winx Saga”; the Starz historical drama “Outlander”; the 2010 Russell Crowe thriller “The Next Three Days”; and “Cobra Kai,” Netflix’s sequel to the 1984 film “The Karate Kid.”
The previous week’s leader, “Criminal Minds,” dropped to second, with viewers watching 904 million minutes of 301 episodes of the 2005-20 CBS police procedural crime drama, down 8.1% from the 984 million minutes watched the previous week.
“Bridgerton” dropped from second to fifth, with viewers watching 659 minutes of Netflix’s steamy eight-episode alternate history period drama in its seventh week of release. Viewership was down 29.6% from 936 million minutes the previous week. “Bridgerton” surpassed the 1 billion-minutes mark each of its first five weeks.
The top 10 consisted of seven programs that originally aired on U.S. or Canadian broadcast or cable channels and three original streaming programs.
