There’s no killing Michael Myers at the box office, as “Halloween Ends” opened with $41.2 million this weekend to easily lead all films in North America, according to industry estimates released Sunday.

The latest edition of the long-running slasher franchise — which star Jamie Lee Curtis has said will be her last — finished far ahead of another horror movie, “Smile,” which took in $12.4 million after two weeks in the No. 1 spot, Comscore reported.

The family film “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” was third, grossing $7.4 million Friday through Sunday in its second week in theaters.

“The Woman King” was fourth with $3.7 million in its fifth weekend, followed by “Amsterdam” with $2.8 million in its second weekend.

Rounding out the top 10 domestic releases, as estimated by Comscore, were “Don’t Worry Darling” ($2.1 million), “Barbarian” ($1.4 million), “Bros” ($920,000), “Terrifier 2” ($850,000) and “Top Gun: Maverick” ($685,000).
