“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” grossed $19.3 million this weekend to return to the top of the North American box office chart in its fourth week of release, according to industry estimates released Sunday.

The latest animated installment of the lucrative superhero franchise edged out Pixar’s “Elemental,” which took in $18.4 million in its second weekend in theaters, Comscore reported.

“The Flash,” which opened to a disappointing $55 million last weekend, dropped off sharply in its second weekend and finished in third place with $15.2 million.

Fourth place went to the Jennifer Lawrence-starring sex comedy “No Hard Feelings,” which opened with $15.1 million Friday through Sunday, followed by “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” with $11.6 million in its third week.

Rounding out the top 10 domestic releases, as estimated by Comscore, were “Asteroid City” ($9 million), “The Little Mermaid” ($8.6 million), “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3” ($3.5 million), “The Blackening” ($3 million) and “The Boogeyman” ($2.5 million).

This weekend’s overall three-day box office haul was estimated at $109.6 million. The year-to-date total is $4.352 billion — an increase of 21% over the figure at this time last year, according to Comscore.
