“The Batman” is showing impressive staying power in its third week at the box office, grossing another $36.8 million this weekend to top all films in North America, according to industry estimates released Sunday.
Warner Bros.’ nearly 3-hour reboot of its caped crusader franchise has now made more than $300 million in theaters in the United States and Canada, Comscore reported.
The anime film “Jujutsu Kaisen 0” opened with a strong $17.6 million for second place.
Third place went to “Uncharted,” which grossed $8 million Friday through Sunday in its fifth week in theaters.
The slasher film “X” opened in fourth place with $4.4 million, followed by “Dog,” which made $4 million in its fifth week.
Rounding out the top 10 domestic releases, as estimated by Comscore, were “Spider-Man: No Way Home” ($3.2 million), “Death on the Nile” ($1.7 million), “The Outfit” ($1.5 million), “The Kashmir Files” ($1.48 million) and “Sing 2” ($1.48 million).
