A women-only event that aims to promote wellness and balance through expert sessions on Reiki & Bodytalk, and balance and postural movement will be held on Saturday, March 18 from 3-5 p.m in. Pasadena.
Reiki is a complementary health approach in which practitioners place their hands lightly on or just above a person, with the goal of directing energy to help facilitate the person’s own healing response, according to U.S. Dept. Of Health and Human Services. It’s based on an Eastern belief in an energy that supports the body’s innate or natural healing abilities.
Attendees can learn from Kazumi Murasato, Reiki Master, and Certified Bodytalk Practioner.
BodyTalk is a holistic approach to healing, based on principles of energy medicine.
The event is being organized by Rachel Bhagat, CEO of Wellness Powers Life, and will donate 10% of the proceeds to ProjectGRL®, a charity that empowers girls around the world.
The event will also feature raffle prizes and vendors selling various products and services.
The admission fee is $10 per person and $5 for each additional guests/ friends Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Participants are advised to dress in workout clothes and bring their water bottle, yoga mat and/or towel.
The event will take place at 801 South Raymond Ave., Pasadena– it is independent of CATZ, a physical therapy center located at the same address.
