Pasadena’s Tournament of Roses is already planning next year’s parade and looking for volunteers to joining the ranks of its fabled “White Suiters.”
Yes, Virginia, you can join the ranks of that storied group known to Rose Parade TV viewers worldwide by their bold red ties and dazzling white suits and shoes.

The next informational meetings for prospective volunteers will be held Feb. 24 (at 5 p.m.) and 25 (at 6 p.m.)
But first: a quick qualification check: You must reside “within 15 miles of Pasadena City Hall,” or have a business address that meets that requirement.
And you don’t need to wear a white outfit to the meeting.
But you must:

Be between 21 and 66 as of January 16, 2022

Purchase a white suit and accessories after you are accepted

Pay annual dues of $55-$75 depending on member level

Be available each year at New Year’s to volunteer

Be available to attend committee meetings throughout the year.
