17 Art Center College of Design Students Selected as Semifinalists for Adobe’s Design Awards

Seventeen students from Pasadena’s Art Center College of Design were named semifinalists in the second round of the 2015 Adobe Design Achievement Awards (ADAA), a global design competition that celebrates student achievement and reflects the convergence of technology and the arts.

This year is the 15th annual student design competition sponsored by the computer software company based in San Jose, California.
To enter the competition, students are required to create their design projects using Adobe applications and upload their entries to the competition website for the public to see. The competition attracted some 2,570 entries from all over the globe. Eighty-five of the entries came from the Art Center College of Design.

The 17 semifinalists from the Art Center and the categories they entered are:

4. Seung Il Choi, Packaging
5. Taeseok Choi, Print Communications & Social Impact Design (three entries selected)
6. Duy Dao, Print Communications
7. Yoonji Do, Packaging
8. Dana Kim, Print Communications
9. Ji hyun Kim, Packaging
10. Mun Joo Kim, Packaging & Print Communications (two entries selected)
11. John Qudoe Lee, Print Communications
12. Saebyul Lee, Photography & Illustration (three entries selected)
13. Sarah Lee, Print Communications
14. Jessica Muljadi, Packaging & Print Communications (three entries selected)
15. Siyun Oh, Print Communications (two entries selected)
16. Felix Soletic, Motion Graphics
17. Melia Tandiono, Packaging & Print Communications (three entries selected)

The finalists will be announced in August and the winners will be known by October.
