The Flintridge Proper is known for its farm-to-table approach to food, and its “neighborly” ambience. But let’s just up the excellent factor a notch, shall we?

Beginning at 7:00 a.m., the Proper is now serving its gourmet coffee, squeezed-to-order juices, and freshly baked pastries all day long. If you stop and introduce yourself to barista Phil Collins, who is extremely passionate about coffee, he can even whip you up a customized coffee drink just for you based on the things you like. How’s that for service?

Oh, and if you wish to linger in the lounge, you can catch up with the morning paper, or plow through your emails with the Proper’s complimentary Wi-Fi. But what’s the point of opening early without a Proper breakfast? Food with that coffee? Smashing idea!
