Felon in Possession of a Loaded Firearm Arrested

On Friday August 26, 2016 at approximately 8:12 a.m., officers were investigating a non-injury traffic collision in the 1800 block of Ramona Avenue. Upon contacting both of the involved parties, a records check was performed on one of the drivers who did not possess a valid driver’s license. The records check revealed 32-year-old Alhambra resident Rameses Isidro Yebera was on felony probation and he had an outstanding felony burglary warrant for his arrest. Upon a search of Yebera’s vehicle, a loaded firearm was located in the center console.

Yebera was arrested and booked for his outstanding burglary warrant and for a felon in possession of a firearm. Yebara is being held at the Inmate Reception Center in Los Angele pending arraignment at Alhambra Superior Court.
