Earlier reports about a Friday night shooting have been clarified by Pasadena police to report that three victims — not four, as earlier stated — were injured.

Pasadena police Lt. Kim Smith said Saturday that two women were found with gunshot wounds, accompanied by a man who had been cut by flying glass.

Smith said all three were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The police response began about 9:15 p.m. Friday when officers were summoned on a “shots fired” call to the 1800 block of Navarro Street.

Arriving police found a bullet-riddled automobile and immediately were notified the victims were located several streets away in the 1700 block of Newport Avenue.

Officers found the victims, who were transported by Pasadena Fire dept. paramedics for treatment.

Smith said detectives are piecing together what occurred.

She said that no suspects have yet been identified.
