Published on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 | 12:53 pm

A homeless parolee committed a lewd act in public outside an Old Pasadena restaurant Tuesday night and was arrested after witnesses called police.

Police received calls of a man mastrubating in public about 9:46 p.m. in the 200 block of South Raymond Avenue, reported Lt. Kelly Evans of the Pasadena police.

Officers arrived and detained the man and, after witnesses identified him as the suspect, placed Edward Valdivia, 51, reportedly homeless, under arrest for indecent exposure and committing a lewd act in public.

Valdivia is on parole and is a registered sex offender. He was wanted on at least one other arrest warrant as well, Evans said.

Editor’s Note: This story has been corrected. The suspect’s last name was originally misspelled as “Baldivia.”
