Letter to the Editor: Planned Parenthood Pasadena San Gabriel Valley is Now Part of Every Woman Counts

This month, we’re excited to announce that Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley is now part of the Every Woman Counts program. This vital program provides cancer prevention screenings, including breast exams, mammograms, pelvic exams, and Pap tests for uninsured and underinsured women over 40, right here in our Pasadena health center.

For many communities, access to health care is an issue of life and death. Every Woman Counts helps provide services that eliminate health disparities, particularly for underserved women of color. Through this program, we look forward to preventing and reducing the devastating effects of cancer through early detection and diagnosis.

At Planned Parenthood we fight to ensure all people have access to high-quality, affordable health care no matter who they are or where they live.
