Mayor Michael D. Antonovich announced that the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved continued funding for a park-and-ride shuttle bus service to the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Post Parade.
The Tournament of Roses Post Parade gives the public an opportunity to view the flower-festooned floats on display along Sierra Madre and Washington boulevards in Pasadena, beginning January 1 at 1:00 p.m.
To accommodate the large number of expected guests and reduce traffic congestion in the area, the Tournament of Roses Association and the County provide the shuttle service, which departs from three park-and-ride locations:
Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd.
Community Education Center, 3035 E. Foothill Blvd.
Rose Bowl Lot B, 1001 Rose Bowl Drive (January 2-3 only)
Tickets are $3 round trip and free for children 5 years and younger. Shuttle passengers have access to a priority entry line upon arriving at the venue.
