Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti Endorses Kathryn Barger for County Supervisor

“At a time of enormous transition on the LA County Board of Supervisors, Kathryn Barger has the experience and the ability to hit the ground running,” said Mayor Garcetti. “As Chief Deputy Supervisor, Kathryn knows the challenges facing the Board and, as a lifelong resident of the Fifth District, she has a deep understanding of the challenges facing the communities she will serve as Supervisor. I look forward to working with her on real and lasting solutions for the City and the County,” concluded Mayor Garcetti.

Thanking Mayor Garcetti for his endorsement and confidence in her, Kathryn Barger responded: “Mayor Garcetti has not only been a leader for the City of Los Angeles but a leader for our entire region and our State. I want to work side-by-side with him to solve our most pressing issues, because he knows, as I do, that there is only one way to get things done — and that is by working together.”
