Pasadena police said that although no foul play is suspected, a 14-year-old girl last seen Friday, May 15 leaving the campus of John Muir High School has still not been found after she has gone missing for four days and there are few new details available concerning her whereabouts.

Talya Thompson was reportedly seen by her sister walking away from the school at 1905 Lincoln Avenue around 11 a.m.

The teen has run away from home before, authorities said, and the parents waited until Sunday to report her missing. She usually returns with a day or two, police explained.

Authorities describe her standing 5′ 6″ and weighing about 170 pounds. She has medium complexion, brown hair, brown eyes. Media reports indicate she was last seen wearing a blue-and-orange hooded sweatshirt, black pants and leopard print shoes.

“She was not under duress and there was nothing suspicious about her walking away from the campus,” Lt. Jesse Carrillo told City News Service.

If you have information that can assist in helping safely locate Talya Thompson, please call 911 or contact the Pasadena Police Department with any information at (626) 744-4241.
