Home, Car Struck by Gunfire in Pasadena; No Victims Found

Bullets pierced a house and a parked car in a shooting in a residential neighborhood in Pasadena on Wednesday evening, but no injuries were reported in connection with the gunfire, police said.

The shooting took place about 6:45 p.m. in the 100 block of West Hammond Ave., Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins said.

Police received multiple reports of gunfire in the area and discovered a home and an unoccupied car had been hit by bullets, according to the lieutenant. Spent bullet casings were found in the area.

A Mini Cooper was seen driving away from the area, but it was not immediately clear whether it was related to the shooting, police said.
