A 22-year-old Pasadena resident was arrested Monday night after he was identified as a suspect in an armed robbery in Las Vegas about two days ago.
Noah Fields is now in custody after Pasadena police saw the vehicle he was in as it was cruising near the area of Washington Blvd. and North Los Robles Avenue.
Pasadena police Lt. John Mercado said the vehicle was followed, then stopped at Los Robles and Ashtabula Street at about 8:20 p.m. Monday night.
“Our officers received a hit on their ALPR (automatic license plate reader) of an armed and dangerous wanted vehicle out of Las Vegas Metro Police,” Mercado said. “The driver and suspect were detained without incident. The investigation determined that the passenger was one of two individuals wanted for an armed robbery out of Las Vegas two days ago, and he was arrested and booked at Pasadena City Jail pending extradition request from Nevada.”
Mercado said the female driver was not involved in the Las Vegas robbery and was released.
Mercado added that Fields was on parole when he was arrested.
Police searched the suspect and vehicle for the handgun that was used in the Las Vegas robbery but could locate the weapon.
