Pasadena police detectives on Thursday released an image and a description of the vehicle which fled the scene of the January 6 shooting of four people in the 100 block of West Claremont Street, leaving two dead and two wounded.
Pasadenans Antoine Dewayne Sutphen Jr. and Ormani Dajan Duncan, both 24, died. The shooting targeted mourners at the scene of a vigil that was being held in remembrance of a young man who had been killed just days earlier.
Police today said the suspect car is described as being similar to a 2000 to 2005 Buick, brown in color.
A week ago today, police had released descriptions of the four shooting suspects and a sketch of one suspect.
Investigators said there were four attackers, all of the black men. Witnesses have said one of the assailants was 20 to 25 years old, 60 to 62 tall, and 210 to 220 lbs. The other three are described as 25 to 30 years old; one is described as 510 to 60 tall, and 240 to 250 lbs.; a second as approximately 25 to 30 years old, 59 to 511 tall, and 210 to 220 lbs.; and the third as approximately 25 to 30 years old, 511 to 601 tall, and 180 to 190 lbs.
