A 28-year-old man shot in the lower back Thursday night remained uncooperative today, refusing to give police any details on why he was shot, a police lieutenant said.

It is believed the Altadena resident was shot in the 100 block of Tremont Street, where police were dispatched at 5:44 p.m. Thursday on a “shots fired” call, said Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson.

When police arrived on the scene, the shooting victim had already been driven to an area hospital, Clawson said.

“There was some evidence located in the 100 block of Tremont Street that they (police) believe the shooting may have occurred there,” he said. “Everyone is being uncooperative.”

Pasadena police asked anyone with any information regarding the shooting attack to call them at (626) 744-4501.
