South Pasadena Police Hunt Bicycle Bandit

South Pasadena Police have issued surveillance images of a bicycle bandit who stole credit cards, keys, a remote control device, and the vehicle registration from an unlocked car that was parked inside an open garage in the 800 block of Flores de Oro on April 18.

Police say that about 2:31 in the morning the suspect approached, noticing the open door.  He walked his bicycle down the home’s driveway when the motion light activated. Undeterred, he suspect walked inside the victim’s garage and entered both of victim’s unlocked vehicles and stole the items.

Immediately thereafter, the suspect fled on his bicycle southbound on Flores de Oro.

The suspect is a white man 25 to 30 years old, with dark hair. He was carrying a backpack.

Surveillance video captured the suspect entering and exiting victim’s garage. The victim’s credit card was later used in South Pasadena, Alhambra and Los Angeles.
