“Step And Repeat” Clear Skies, Upper 80’s Weather to Fill the Weekend and Next Week

Pasadenans should expect some fog and low clouds from night through early morning this weekend weekend and the start of next week, signaling a “modest cooling trend as an upper trough moves across much of California,” says the National Weather Service in a Forecast Discussion.

Saturday will show some patchy fog before 9 a.m. then will be slightly cloudy through mid-morning, gradually clearing through the afternoon. Expect a high near 89 as a south southwest wind blows at five to 10 miles per hour.

Lows will be around 63 Saturday night as patchy fog sets in after 11 p.m. followed by increasing cloudiness.

Sunday will have patchy fog before 11 a.m. then mostly sunny with a high of 85. Winds from the southwest could gust as high as 15 mph.

Sunday night will have patchy fog after 11 p.m., then partly cloudy, lows around 63.

Expect Monday to be sunny with a high near 84. The NWS says the upper trough over California could move east by this time as an upper ridge builds up over the area, causing maximum temperatures to go up a few degrees. Lows Monday night will be around 63.
