Pasadena’s HRock Church will present its Prophetic Voice Conference this Tuesday January 27, 2014 through February 1 at the Ambassador Auditorium, 131 South St. John Avenue, in Pasadena. The event will feature a host of national speakers including Bobby Conner, Chuck Pierce, Stacey Campbell, Kris Vallotton, and many others, who will share insights on how to hear the Father’s voice and see what He is doing.

According to HRock, they will share testimonies, impart wisdom and give practical steps visitors can take to align and position themselves to go deeper in the prophetic.

Along with the many speakers will be James Goll, author and director of Prayer Storm, and coordinator of Encounters Alliance. He is the co-founder of Encounters Network, and is an instructor at the Wagner Leadership Institute, as well as being a member of the Harvest International Ministries Apostolic Team.

Goll is the author of numerous books including Radical Faith (2011), Deliverance from Darkness (2010), Father Forgive Us! (1999), and Wasted on Jesus (2000). He has also authored several books on intercession and the prophetic: The Prophetic Intercessor Intercession: The Power and Passion to Shape History (2003), The Coming Israel Awakening (2009), The Lost Art of Intercession (1997), Kneeling on the Promises (1999), The Beginner’s Guide to Hearing God (2004), The Seer: The Prophetic Power of Visions, Dreams, and Open Heavens (2004), Dream Language: The Prophetic Power of Dreams, Revelations, and the Spirit of Wisdom (2006), and Angelic Encounters (2007). He produced numerous “Study Guides” and hundreds of teaching tapes and CDs.

Goll spoke to Pasadena Now about his role in the upcoming conference, saying, “I’m looking forward to participating in the annual HIM Prophetic Conference Wednesday evening, and I have some insights for 2014 and beyond, and will share some scripture and some revelatory perspective of what the Holy Spirit has put up on my heart.”

Goll will also participate in a session with his oldest son Justin Goll, a TV and film editor. “We’re going to partner together on Saturday afternoon,” he said, “and we’re going to share stories together and do interaction together in front of everybody, and tell stories of what was really like to grow up in a prophetic home, and then lessons of what to do and things not to repeat in our parenting.”

The international aspect of the event is particularly exciting to Goll, who said, “It’s a melting pot of people from many different backgrounds, ethnically and age-wise, but people also fly in from all over the west coast and from around the United States and delegates from many nations, so it’s a true international gathering and it’s one of my favorite events on my calendar every year.”

Goll, who hails from the Midwest, believes his upbringing there, and in the South, has shaped his strong belief system.

“That definitely shapes who I am and it also helps to form part of my life message,” he explained. “As an example, doing this session with my son, I have honestly waited for years to be able to do this, and this is our first time to do it. But it also comes from out of our shared core values that are biblical, we’ve retained them, and yet at the same time, they’re somewhat shaped from the culture that we are a part of.

“So some of what I’m going to bring, the strong moral and strong family values-centered message with a cutting edge prophetically, does come from out of the influence of where we have grown up.”

Much of what Goll will impart at the conference relates to the current moral state of the country. “I believe there is a plumb line being dragged in the middle of our secular society,” he said. “And it is a plumb line of moral values and standards based in the Word of God, the scriptures. The Holy Spirit is coming to measure us to see if in the church, let alone in secular society, if we measure up to God’s standards or not.”

“I believe that that is the times that we live in right now,” he continued, “and we’ve got to take a realistic assessment, ‘Are we measuring up or not?’ and if not, ‘What changes and what adjustments are needed so that the greatness of the United States, the greatness of the state of California will not be short-lived, but increase, be restored and continue with a great lineage and legacy?’

Goll believes that the moral foundations of the nation are being currently weakened, saying, “We’re on a slippery slope of decay and deterioration. The Psalms say, ‘If the foundations are destroyed, what will the righteous do?’ And so there’s the question being asked. It’s not saying that things have to get worse, it’s saying we’ve got to be restored to our proper foundation, and if we are restored to our proper foundation, our best days and years are in front of us.”
