Washington Park Neighbors Plan Emergency Meeting Tonight to Discuss Shooting

The Washington Square Landmark District community organization has announced it is calling an “emergency meeting” tonight to discuss Wednesday’s Washington Park shooting.

The meeting is intended for  residents/neighbors/friends of District 5, organizers tweeted, noting that Councilmember Victor Gordo, Chief of Police Phillip L. Sanchez and City Manager Michael J. Beck are expected to attend.

Police are expected to provide details of the shooting and update the neighborhood on what reactive actions are being planned by the department.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Lake Avenue Church at 393 N. Lake Ave. Pasadena.
